New route to connect Asia with Southeast India

MSC has launched a new weekly service, “Osprey” to connect Asia and Southeast India. Starting on 23 July with the vessel “MSC Somya”, service aims to enhance transit times and connectivity between these regions, benefiting importers and exporters.

Osprey complements MSC’s Shikra service and broadens the company’s coverage of the Asia-India network. The rotation includes Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Colombo, Ennore, and Visakhapatnam. It offers fast end-to-end connections, such as Ningbo to Ennore in 15 days, Ningbo to Visakhapatnam in 17 days, and Ningbo to Kolkata (via Visakhapatnam) in 19 days. (pb)
