New position for Michael Gehrken
The members of the Swiss association of driving instructors (SFV) have elected Michael Gehrken as their new president. He succeeds Pierre-André Tombez, who took over the mandate on an interim basis after the resignation of the former president in November last year. Gehrken has many years of experience in the mobility sector.
For instance, he worked for the Swiss federal department of transport and as director of Astag, the Swiss road haulage association, for many years. The SFV and its members are confident that they have made a good choice.
“I am looking forward to the challenge and I am sure that, in light of technological and social changes, the profession of driving instructor will become even more important in the future,” the new SFV president said. (mw)
