New partnership to optimise distribution in Italy
The Swedish corporation Electrolux has selected Geodis to manage the distribution of its products throughout Italy. The Geodis-designed project includes large services such as product reception and storage, shipment preparation and customs management. Transport and delivery are mainly performed in a direct/drop mode.
Furthermore, Geodis provides ad hoc services, final deliveries, express services, taxi service, etc. Thanks to this partnership, Geodis is now a major player in Italy for household appliance and consumer electronics logistics, the France-based forwarder said. (ben)
