New partner for groupage network in Portugal
From 17 June, Garland, which was established as a trading company in1776 and founded its logistics business in 1973, will handle all transport operations in Portugal and northern Spain as a partner of the international groupage network Online Systemlogistik (OSL).
Garland has seven locations in Portugal and one each in Spain (Vitoria-Gasteiz) and Morocco (Casablanca) and offers transport services to and from Benelux, Germany, the UK, Italy, and Switzerland. It currently employs a total of 450 of its own staff and 200 independent subcontractors.
The fleet in Portugal comprises 45 trucks and up to 500 vehicles from independent carriers at the other locations. Garland also has 224,092 sqm of logistics space and 163,000 sqm of warehouse space. (ben)
