New Orleans port signs ten-year lease
The port of New Orleans (Port Nola) has announced a new ten-year lease with The Kearney Companies, a subsidiary of Precision Terminal Logistics (PTL).
This agreement, which includes facilities on France Road and 3900 Jourdan Road, extends a 20-year relationship and aims to enhance logistics between river, rail, and road.
The Kearney Companies will make capital investments to upgrade these properties, emphasising its commitment to supporting cargo growth and job creation in the region. This partnership currently supports 3,000 carloads per year, handles 20,000 teu annually, and provides approximately 65 full-time jobs. (pb)
