New man for new customs division


Acito Logistics is expanding its portfolio in its customs sector by bundling its decentralised customs business and establishing Acito Customs, based at company headquarters in Weil am Rhein (Germany). The move resulted in the appointment of Danny Döbele, who has a decade of experience in the customs field. The customs specialist is a member of Acito’s extended management team. The customs advisory division is headed by Patric Galley, a member of the three-strong management board.

 

The new customs unit unites Acito Logistics' expertise in providing advice and training, as well as the handling of multifaceted customs issues. The new unit also settles many customs issues at all important border crossings to Switzerland, as well as in ports and airports throughout Germany. Currently more than 1,000 clearances per month are dealt with. Acito Customs deals with shippers, freight forwarding partners and agents. (mw)
