New logistics hub in Ljubljana goes on stream
The Austrian logistics services provider cargo-partner has completed the construction of its storage hub near Ljubljana’s airport in Slovenia. The iLogistics centre, which covers a storage area of 25,000 sqm, became operational in August and will be officially inaugurated in September.
In the new centre, cargo-partner offers long and short term storage as well as a comprehensive range of valued added services such as order picking, labelling, cross-docking, consolidation, multi-channel-distribution, e-fulfilment and other contract logistics. The warehouse has 44 truck loading ramps and can accommodate more than 20,000 pallet spaces.
In addition, the location includes a 6,000 sqm small parts warehouse as well as a 5,000 sqm facility for cross-docking and block storage. Viktor Kastelic, CEO of cargo-partner in Slovenia, says: “The new iLogistics centre is a great milestone for cargo-partner in Slovenia. We are sure that it will promote our growth not only in our country but also in the larger region.” (mw)
