New logistics complex in Samara
The Tolyatti Logistics Complex "Modul" has just come on stream in Russia’s Samara region, Russia. The facility is run by a joint venture of Kuibyshev Azot and Modul, one of the country’s major transport and logistics companies.
Within the new regional logistics project, “Port Tolyatti”, a subsidiary of Kuibyshev Azot, will organise new rail container routes in Samara and neighbouring regions.
“We have studied the tasks and needs of the industry players in the Samara region in detail, and we have created a transhipment complex that will propel the container logistics of the region to a new level,” said Alexander Altshuller, general director of Modul. There are also plans to develop regular railway routes for accelerated container block trains.
