New location on Mexican border
International transport and logistics service provider Gebrüder Weiss has opened a branch in the Texan border town of El Paso, which is to become a hub for full load transports between Mexico and USA.
With this expansion, the company responds to an increase in trade between the two countries. GW has been active in USA under its own brand since 2017.
El Paso is located at the Interstate 10, which runs from the west to the east coast of USA and in short flight distance to hubs like Chicago, the Dallas/Fort-Worth metropolitan area and Los Angeles.
“Mexico’s position as a production location for the American automotive, steel, and textile industries is becoming increasingly important,” explains Mark McCullough, country manager of Gebrüder Weiss USA. (sh)
