New intermodal links for European network
The Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has launched two new rail connections: two times a week, a service between Verona (Italy) and Lübeck (Germany) offers a direct, non-stop intermodal connection between Northern Italy and the North German Hanseatic city to provide optimal logistics solutions for transports to and from Scandinavia.
The second new service operates a direct intermodal connection, again twice a week, linking Austria with the German Port of Hamburg on the North Sea. With this new product, RCG also provides direct access to the Enns container terminal – one of the most important transport hubs in the central region of Upper Austria, the carrier said. (ben)
