New head at ICHCA International
The International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA), an independent, not-for-profit organisation established in 1952, has appointed Richard Steele as the new head of ICHCA International. He takes over on 1 July 2021, following the retirement of the current incumbent Richard Brough.
Steele joins from Port Skills and Safety, a ports health and safety membership organisation, where he is currently the chief executive and which he has led for eleven years.
Bringing 21 years’ experience in the ports industry, Steele was the senior learning and development manager for Associated British ports for ten years, and has also worked in the nuclear industry on safety and skills provision. (amh)
