New freight forwarder gracing greater Nuremberg
The general cargo alliance, Vernetzte-Transport GmbH (VTL), has gained a new partner for the Nuremberg region in the shape of Barsan Global Logistik (BGL). The latter, an international freight forwarding company, operates twelve trucks for local haulage tasks within the entire greater Nuremberg region (Germany).
BGL replaces VTL member Deutsche Transport Compagnie (DTC), which has left the alliance. BGL puts an average of 516 consignments, 961 parcels or 258 t per month into the VTL network. BGL Nuremberg is part of Barsan Global Lojistik, based in Istanbul.
Last year, VTL handled 1.37 million shipments, weighing a total of around 533,137 t, and generated a turnover of about EUR 65 million. (ben)
