New faces gracing Hellmann
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics recently filled two new positions. Mark Hellmann assumed the position of CEO for the global partner network of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Via the global network with 106 partner companies, the Osnabrueck (Germany)-based logistics service provider covers services along the entire supply chain in 162 countries.
Mark Hellmann succeeds Michael Claus, who successfully built and expanded the network globally over the past 30 years and who will retire at the end of the year.
The post of global head of seafreight was awarded to Gerald Mayrhofer. He will report directly to Bart de Vries, chief operating officer air & sea.
In the reporting year 2017, the seafreight segment contributed around a quarter of the Hellmann Group's total sales and recorded profitable global growth again last year. (mw)
