New direct short-sea service in Baltic Sea region
Samskip is launching a new short-sea service connecting Rotterdam, Helsinki, Riga, and Hull in response to customer demand. This service offers reliable transit times in the Baltic Sea region, with a five-day transit time from Riga to Hull and a seven-day transit time from Helsinki to Hull.
Two vessels will be deployed on this route. Retailers in Finland are offered a fast and consistent service and door-to-door deliveries, including customs clearance support, truck fleets, and cross-docking services in the UK.
The company's regional directors expressed their commitment to meeting customer needs and providing efficient shipping connections between the Baltic region, the UK and the Netherlands. (pb)
