New commercial manager in Cologne
Christian Möhrmann is taking over full responsibility for all the commercial activities of Cologne (Germany)-based HGK Shipping, which, with a staff of around 1,000, operates a fleet of roughly 300 own and chartered ships.
In his new role, Möhrmann will complement the management team around CEO Steffen Bauer and lead the accounting, controlling and insurance segments, among other duties. He replaces Walter Steinig, who will leave the management after 34 years in the company and retire.
Möhrmann worked as financial expert in M&A at Deloitte and E.ON for several years before holding various executive positions in the finance departments of other companies, most recently at Imperial Logistics International and StepStone. (amh)
