New chapter in railroad's history
The US railroad Norfolk Southern (NS) is relocating its headquarters from Norfolk VA, to Atlanta GA. The company has engaged Cousins Properties to oversee construction of the new headquarters complex.
NS recently held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction work. The new HQ includes a two-tower glass structure which is connected to a campus-style hub. Plans call for the building to be completed and occupied by Norfolk Southern in Q3/2021. NS said the new HQ marks the start of a new chapter in its history. (ben)
