New CFO for Dachser
On 1 January Thomas Hiemer took charge as the logistics services provider Dachser’s new chief financial officer (CFO). As a member of the executive board he’ll be in charge of the division for finance, controlling, tax and treasury. Hiemer took over from Dachser CEO Burkhard Eling, who headed said unit for the past 18 months.
41-year-old Hiemer has worked in Dachser’s finance department for twelve years and has proven himself as a distinguished manager with expertise in corporate finance, accounting and controlling.
He initially headed the group controlling unit, before taking over the position of head of corporate finance in 2021. In 2023 Hiemer was appointed deputy director of the division for finance, controlling, tax and treasury, serving as the deputy head of finance. (cj)
