New CFO for BLG Logistics
Jens Bieniek, chief financial officer of BLG Logistics, will step down and be replaced by Christine Hein. At the beginning of the year, Bieniek took the decision to leave his position as BLG's CFO and chose Hein to take over his office.
From the end of the year, Hein will lead the company's financial segment. The provider of seaport and logistics services thus joins the group of companies quoted on the German stock exchange with the highest number of women in leadership positions.
Andrea Eck, responsible for the automotive segment, and chief human resources officer Ulrike Riedel are the two other women at BLG's helm.
Hein brings experience from her executive roles in international industries, more particularly in the fields of finance, accounting and risk management and M&A. More recently, she worked as managing director of Total Global Financial Services.
Moreover, she is familiar with various other sectors of the economy, such as the mineral oil and chemical industry, machines and plant construction and the food industry. (amh)
