New CFO at HHLA's helm
Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) has named Annette Walter at its new CFO to oversee finance and real estate. She joins from Steag and brings extensive experience from her time at Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and E.ON.
Angela Titzrath's contract as CEO has been extended for five years. She has led the company since 2017. The board's recent controversial decision to support MSC's 49.9% stake acquisition in HHLA has sparked debate among Hamburg's logistics firms.
In his statement, Rüdiger Gruber, chairman of the supervisory board, referred to the challenges the logistics industry is currently facing worldwide and expressed his confidence in the leadership of Titzrath and Walter. (pb)
