Union Tank Eckstein (UTA) has appointed Carsten Bettermann as its new CEO. He succeeds Volker Huber, who, after four years at the helm of UTA, will assume new responsibilities within the Edenred group. Bettermann is an experienced managing director who graduated from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany) and the University of Vermont (USA).
He began his career at McKinsey & Company in Germany. Before moving to UTA he gained management experience at LSG Sky Chefs and CWS Boco International in Germany, Switzerland and the USA. “We are delighted to welcome Bettermann to UTA and Edenred. His profound and diverse executive experience will be a key factor for UTA’s further development and transformation. We thank Huber for his very successful work over the last four years,” says Antoine Dumurgier, COO fleet & mobility solutions at Edenred and member of the board at UTA. (mw)
