New business in Poland

Railpool has announced that it will open a new subsidiary in Poznań, Poland on 1 October 2022. The new branch will be headed by Robert Nowakowski.

The rail vehicle leasing company has been present at the Polish market since 2009. The foundation of a subsidiary in Poland is a logical continuation of Railpool’s activities in this market, the company said.

Nowakowski has more than 20 years of executive experience in the rail sector, including more than eleven years at DB Cargo Polska, where he served as a member of the board for the last five years.

Founded in Germany 2008, Railpool currently operates in 17 European countries with around 400 locomotives and 148 other vehicles. (ben) www.railpool.eu
