New branch in Wolfurt

Besides focusing on international expansion, the Austrian logistics services provider cargo-partner is also increasing its business in the domestic market. Cargo-partner has inaugurated a new branch in Wolfurt, in the west of the country.

The region of Voralberg enjoys high economic growth and has good connections to air, sea and road networks. Large airports in Zurich (Switzerland), Munich and Frankfurt (Germany) are easily accessible, and, as to sea freight, the location has its own container terminal in Wolfurt, which offers easy options to procure empty equipment.

Martin Schenzel, managing director of cargo-partner in Austria, explains the reasons for extending the network: “We see great potential here, particularly because of the favourable geographic location in the border triangle with Austria, Germany and Switzerland. We have experienced significant growth in Voralberg over the last few years, and forecasts are promising. The next logical step was to open an operative branch of our own in the region.” (mw)
