New brain for workforce scheduling
After Etihad and Latam, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the next airline to opt for Inform's expertise in workforce scheduling for employees at airports.
With the AI-supported software "Workforce Plus", KLM Royal Dutch Airlines wants to standardise planning for cargo, ground handling and engineering & maintenance at Amsterdam Airport, optimise shift schedules and automate complex planning processes.
The cloud-based solution developed by the Aachen (Germany)-based company (photo) will replace a KLM software developed in-house and will be integrated as a central element of the airline’s operational processes in its IT landscape. In so doing, Workforce Plus will map the rules and regulations of the Dutch working hours act as well as the equally multi-layered and dynamic company agreements for many KLM employees.
KLM has been working with Inform in planning and real-time resource controlling for logistics processes for over 25 years. (ah)
