New board for active logistics
The IT services provider active logistics has changed its board. Effective immediately, Thomas Braun, Michael Otto and Hermann Schmidt have taken over the helm at the company that supplies software for the logistics industry. All three new members of the board have been working for the company for more than 15 years.
Thomas Braun will be in charge of administration. He joined the firm in Nuremberg (Germany) in 1986. Michael Otto will head the marketing and sales department. He began his career at active logistics in 2000, when he started an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in Herdecke (North Rhine Westphalia, Germany). He later became a divisional manager, authorised representative and branch manager. He has been serving as a managing director for six years now. Hermann Schmidt will be in charge of development.
The company has also elected a new supervisory board. With immediate effect, this controlling body will be chaired by Wolfgang Müller, with Arnold Kriener as his deputy. Josef Rüst will complete the supervisory board. All three gentlemen are founding shareholders of the company. (mw)
