The Nuclear Energy Maritime Organisation (Nemo), comprised of companies that provide nuclear energy solutions for the maritime sector, aims to develop standards for floating nuclear power.
Nemo will promote safety, security, and environmental standards, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Headquartered in London, the organisation’s inaugural members include HD KSOE, Lloyd's Register, BWXT Advanced Technologies, Terra Power, Onomichi Dockyard, Westinghouse Electric Company, Core Power (UK), Vard Group, Bureau Veritas, Rina, and Jeil Partners.
