New 13,100 teu containership for Wan Hai
Wan Hai Lines held a naming ceremony for the new 13,100 teu containership, “Wan Hai A17”, at Samsung Heavy Industries' shipyard on 23 August. This vessel is the tenth in a series of thirteen, featuring environmentally friendly engines and "smart ship notation" certification for enhanced navigation and safety.
“Wan Hai A17” will join the Asia to East Coast of North America service, "AA7." Alongside the ceremony, Wan Hai Lines made a charitable donation to Wish-Harbour, a local charity organisation, emphasising its commitment to corporate social responsibility. (pb)
