Never really connected Brazilian cargo airline
The Brazilian Connect Linhas Aéreas (Connect Cargo), of which only little is known, except that it has its hub in Recife, in the north east of the country, seems to be in serious financial difficulties, having only just entered the business.
Founded just a year ago, the airline had started operations with two B737-400SF leased from Vallair and announced great plans to add B767 freighters for its domestic flights and to connect its hub with Miami (FL, USA) with a B747-400F.
Now there is news that the company's two freighters have become the object of a legal action to recover the property. Pending clarification of the circumstances, the freighters remain on the ground, one at the Belo Horizonte airport, the other in Manaus. (ah)
