Negotiations between Maritime Kuhn and Bolloré Ports France
In France, Bolloré Transport & Logistics and the Kuhn Maritime group have entered into exclusive negotiations for Kuhn to take over Bolloré’s port activities in France. This project could become effective during Q3/2019, after the social, legal and administrative procedures have been finalised.
This operation brings together two geographically complementary networks with 620 employees. Bolloré Ports France, present in 15 French ports, sees it as part of a strategy to refocus its port handling and logistics activities in international markets where the group is already established, particularly in West Africa.
The Maritime Kuhn group, a family business created more than 70 years ago in Bretagne, is a recognised player in the French port sector, specialising in cargo handling, ship agency, transit, customs clearance, storage and scheduling. (kd)
