NCA to suspend RTW service
Since this summer schedule, Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) has reinstated the use of all eight B747–8F under the direct operation of NCA. As part of the carrier's fundamental corporate policy to maintain a safe and reliable operation, NCA will optimise the flight network to better match its customer’s requirements and enhance its services. One highlight of its plans is the suspension of its around-the-world-service Tokyo-Anchorage-Chicago-Hahn-Milano-Tokyo.
Some of these flights will be changed to NRT–ANC–ORD–ANC–NRT, returning the aircraft to Tokyo (Japan) after Chicago (USA) rather than continuing to Europe. The last scheduled flight from Chicago (USA) to Hahn (Germany) will be on 24 December, and the last scheduled flight from Hahn to Narita (Japan) will be on the following day. (ah)
