Natural gas from waste for trucks

Rolande has opened an LNG filling station in Ziesar near Berlin (Germany). It has two LNG fuel pumps and is located on a strategically important transport corridor for East-West and North-South goods traffic, including routes to the North Sea and Baltic Sea regions.

The newly opened station is Rolande's seventh LNG filling station in Germany. As at other locations, the bio-LNG provider has leased the premises from IDS (International Diesel Service), a European provider of fuel cards and fuels.

The public self-service station in Ziesar, Brandenburg, is available around the clock. Bio-LNG is produced from organic waste and then liquefied. (ben)
