Nars 2025 – Rail industry gathering
The North American Rail Shippers Association (Nars) will host its annual meeting in Chicago from 7–9 May, providing a networking platform for rail shipping professionals. The event will feature industry leaders discussing several rail topics, as the association reports.
The meeting will open with a presentation by Chicago history storyteller Dilla Thomas. New this year is a guided tour on 7 May, offering insights into Chicago’s history and visits to local pizzerias. Confirmed speakers include executives from Norfolk Southern, CSX, Union Pacific Railroad, and BNSF railway, as well as representatives from the surface transportation board.
Nars president Kate Bourgeois highlighted the event’s significance: "This meeting is a natural place for our annual gathering of leaders who come to share insights and learn from peers." The event will take place at the Swissôtel Chicago. (js)
