Naomi Landman joins Damco
Saskia Groen-in’t-Woud, CEO of Damco, has appointed Naomi Landman as head of Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and network strategy to drive growth in 2020. The Netherlands-based freight forwarder will continue to diversify its service offerings, developing new air cargo solutions, investing in further digitalisation projects and opening new facilities.
“We have done our homework and spent time understanding what our customers really want, refining our service offering and bringing in the best people for its delivery,” said Groen-in’t-Woud.
Landman brings two decades of forwarding experience and air freight expertise in senior management roles, most recently as managing director at Gefco Netherlands.
Groen-in’t-Woud took the helm at Damco a year ago to run the freight forwarder as an independent and separate business from its parent company A.P. Moller - Maersk. (mw)
