NAM enhances links between Liege and Africa
London (UK)-based and Africa-focused Network Airline Management (NAM) and Liege airport (LGG) will extend their relationship for a further three years, cementing cargo operations at the airport in the East of Belgium for the foreseeable future.
Since NAM moved their freighter operation to LGG in 2014, cargo levels have strongly increased across all sectors. This is mainly due to the introduction of various new freighter routes and destinations. Located in the heart of the Amsterdam-Paris-Frankfurt triangle, LGG is one of the most cargo-friendly airports in Europe, making it a gateway for cargo operations.
NAM operations director Malcolm Higginson: "LGG offers the advantage of ease of access with a large road feeder service, as well as good widebody freighter connectivity into Asia and North America." (ah)
