MVG to open DG facility in Haiphong
The Vietnamese company MVG Dinh Vu (MVG), of which MOL holds 67.5% of the shares, has set up a joint venture in cooperation with local partners to open a new chemical and dangerous goods (DG) warehouse.
The facility, built to comply with the local fire code, will offer a range of handling services for chemical products and other DGs. The location is in the petrochemical area of Dinh Vu Industrial Park adjacent to the Port of Haiphong in Northern Vietnam, offering access also to the Hanoi-Haiphong expressway and Cat Bi International Airport.
The raised-floor warehouse, with total floor space of 5,400 sqm, is currently Vietnam’s most spacious DG warehouse. Since its foundation in 2014, MVG, whose general director is Nguyen Dinh Tri, has been offering services centring on the container depot business with two of them in Haiphong. (sh)
