MSC upgrades Sentosa service
The Indian connection is gaining in value. To make markets in North India more accessible, MSC is expanding its current Sentosa service to connect main ports in China directly with India’s Mundra and Nhava Sheva and Sri Lanka’s Colombo.
The new Sentosa rotation also includes a direct connection from North India to the main ports in Southeast Asia and on the US West Coast. The first vessel sailing eastbound from North India will be “MSC Sola”, due to depart Nhava Sheva on 13 February 2023.
The schedule includes a call at Shekou on 8 March 2023, and the ship should reach Long Beach on 26 March 2023. The first vessel sailing westbound will be MSC Mara departing from Long Beach on 5 March 2023. The ship is scheduled to call at Qingdao on 28 March, Ningbo on 1 April and Nhava Sheva on 17 April. (sh)
