"MSC Loreto" calls at port of Antwerp
"MSC Loreto" recently loaded and unloaded containers at the MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET) at the Deurganckdock in Antwerp. With a carrying capacity of 24,346 teu, the vessel is considered to be the largest container ship in the world, together with its twin, "MSC Irina".

The vessel began its journey in Ningbo (China) on 19 April and departed for Felixstowe (UK) on 28 May, with a wide range of goods from raw materials to finished products, such as machinery, plastics & rubber, electronics, furniture, onboard. This arrival at the port of Antwerp “creates an excellent support base for further developments of our company,” said Marc Beerlandt, CEO MSC Belgium. (lh)
