Mriya flies millions of masks from China to Canada
The new Canadian office of Intradco Global, a Chapman Freeborn company and a family member of Avia Solutions Group, in collaboration with GTA GSM, has completed a significant charter operation, transporting 13,000 cartons (totalling nearly 1,000 cbm) of medical supplies and PPE on board the AN-225 ("Mriya"). The world's largest aircraft arrived at Toronto, having flown from Tianjin with fuel stops at Chubu (Japan) and Anchorage (USA).
Charlie McMullen, Intradco Global director: "Difficult times call for adaptability. As live animal movements became very restricted, we switched our resources to seeking out new air charter capacity while there was a surge in demand for PPE."
Later this year, the company is set to announce a newly formed wing of its organisation – Intradco Projects. (ah)
