Mozambique Airports PCA chairs ACI-Africa
Emanuel Chaves, president of the board of directors of Aeroportos de Moçambique, has been nominated by unanimity to chair ACI-Africa (Airports Council International). He took over his new position on 15 February 2021 and will end the mandate of the presidency on 31 December 2022.
This appointment apparently is “the result of the recognition of the work that the company […] has carried out”. Highlighting the presence and inclusion of the Portuguese language both in the presidency and the association, this appointment constitutes a big and important step.
ACI-Africa is an association which aims to represent the interests of its members to governments and international organisations such as ICAO-International Civil Aviation Organisation and others. (amh)
