Moving to Mombasa

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has opened a new office in Mombasa, East Africa’s largest seaport. It is the company’s second location in Kenya, following the branch in the country’s capital Nairobi.

SGL now operates twelve offices in Africa. With a growing middle class and large-scale infrastructure projects, the continent offers increasing business opportunities for the logistics industry. The provider is looking to leverage this potential by gaining access to the ocean via Mombasa and connecting it to East and Central Africa. With the standard gauge railway and other infrastructure developments, the Mombasa office can be linked to SGL’s hub in Nairobi.

Duncan Wagura, managing director of SGL Kenya: “We are looking forward to further strengthening our presence in Kenya and Africa and providing local and global customers with comprehensive, efficient, end-to-end solutions.” (mk)
