Moving critical cargo to Dubai in all weathers
The air & sea division of Europa Worldwide, which has specialist teams both in the UAE (established in Dubai in 2022) and the UK, recently chartered an An-124 to move time-critical cargo to the UAE, albeit against the largest storms ever recorded there.
Due to the size of the cargo of one of the UK’s major hydraulics manufacturers, Europa had to not only charter this specific aircraft but also organise and manage the permits for domestic haulage.
Kevin Perry, Europa Air & Sea's British airfreight operations manager: "This was a challenging project due to both its scale and timeliness, but the weather added another layer of complexity. This is the perfect example of how with our expertise and infrastructure, regardless of the size or timeframes we can guarantee a seamless movement of goods." (ah)
