Move One extends contract in Afghanistan
Dubai-based Move One has extended its aircraft handling contract on Bagram, Kandahar and Kabul military airfields through 2025. Describing itself as "the largest foreign-owned freight forwarder in Afghanistan", where it has been operating for 19 years, the company's local branch with a 50+ staff supports the download and upload of up to 100 aircrafts per month.
Move One Afghanistan handles up to 8,000 t of cold chain product each month as well as large volumes of vehicles and spare parts, communication equipment, UAVs and associated spare parts, aviation engines and parts, camp supplies, construction equipment, tactical cargo, etc.
To support its physical operations structure, Move One has a team of operations coordinators and administrative support staff in back-offices in Northern Macedonia, the UAE and India.
