Mosolf banking on blockchain
Mosolf now relies on a forgery-proof blockchain solution for its digital bills of lading. To provide this, the automotive logistics provider works with the companies Etecture and Lawa Solutions.
The aim is to raise the safety and efficiency of processes within the automobile logistics value-added chain. To achieve the goal, Mosolf uses a digital bill of lading which covers various stages in the logistics processes ranging from loading to transport and delivery.
The digital document generates a fingerprint and transfers it to the blockchain. Then the blockchain network checks the transaction’s uniqueness and simultaneously establishes a link between the vehicle and the freight document.
A valid transaction, together with a time stamp and GPS coordinates, is added to the blockchain. Blockchain subscribers will be able to verify the validity of any shipping document and the vehicle identification number it contains via a website. (mw)
