Moritz Eichhöfer appointed CEO of GLS Germany
Moritz Eichhöfer became chief executive officer of GLS Germany on 1 April, succeeding Dr Achim Dünnwald. The latter will now oversee Central Europe as its group area managing director in the GLS Group.
Eichhöfer has held various leadership roles at GLS for eight years, most recently serving as deputy CEO. His previous positions include head of the central region and director of strategic development. Prior to joining GLS, he worked for McKinsey & Company.
“I’m excited to take on this new role and grateful for the trust placed in me,” Eichhöfer said. Dünnwald added that “Moritz knows GLS inside out and brings the strategic and operational expertise needed for this position.”
GLS Germany is part of the international GLS Group, which operates in Europe and North America. (ah)
