More warehousing logistics made by Sievert
The German forwarder Sievert Logistik is set to concentrate more on its portfolio of value-added services, with the goal of increasing its annual turnover in the warehousing logistics sector to EUR 25 million by 2025. To this end the logistics services provider will now further adapt to growing demand for petrochemical, industrial mineral and animal feed services.
Its transport business, with approximately 600 haulage units of its own in its fleet and fixed subcontractors, will be retained.
In the course of this business refocusing, the expansion of a site in Hardenberg (Netherlands) was successfully completed at the beginning of the year. A new warehouse offering an additional 5,000 sqm of storage space was built there in a 7,000 sqm compound. (sh)
