More wagons for semi-trailers
With the purchase of 50 new wagons CFL intermodal, Luxembourg, continues to enhance its intermodal network in Europe. The new T3000 double pocket wagons produced by Tatravagonka are suitable for the transport of semi-trailers and are equipped with tracking sensors that provide GPS location data in real time.
By renewing its wagon fleet and investing in digital solutions, CFL multimodal is upgrading its services for combined transport, the operator said.
The overall objective is to develop connections from the intermodal terminal Bettembourg-Dudelange in Luxembourg towards Central and Northern Europe and strengthen combined traffic on the existing routes to France (Lyon, Nancy, Paris), Belgium (Antwerp, Zeebrugge), Italy (Trieste), Germany (Cologne) and Poland (Poznan).
