More units on Venice-Bari-Patras service
Naples-headquartered Grimaldi Group has added another vessel to its Venice-Bari-Patras service. The “Eurocargo Cagliari” will join the “Eurocargo Alexandria” and “Eurocargo Genova” on the ro-ro line from 4 May 2022.
The “Eurocargo Cagliari” has a transport capacity of 3,850 linear metres or 250 trailers. Flying the Italian flag, the vessel is equipped with exhaust gas cleaning systems for the abatement of sulphur and particulate emissions. All in all, the service will provide eight sailings per week from each of the three ports.
In addition to the Venice-Bari-Patras freight-only service, the Grimaldi Group operates the Brindisi-Igoumenitsa, Ancona-Igoumenitsa and Ancona-Patras routes for the shipment of freight between Italy and Greece. (sh)
