More trucks shifted to rail
Czech carrier PKP Cargo International continues to expand its operations in Europe by transporting more semi-trailers between Czechia and Italy. Since the beginning of May, the company has been carrying loads for Austrian haulier LKW Walter in both directions between the Paskov terminal and Terminali Italia in Verona up to five times a week.
The Paskov terminal is one of the most important open intermodal transhipment depots in central Europe. It was established in 2007 as one of the first in Czechia.
Since then it has been expanded and upgraded several times and today it is an integral part of 30 transhipment and container terminals and two logistics centres of its Polish parent group PKP Cargo. (ben)
