More trucks for asphalt haulage
Liquid foodstuffs, dry and liquid bulk, chemicals and asphalt: there are many uses for tank and silo trailers – and their deployment often generates more attractive margins compared to palletised freight.
Hauliers who want to operate risk-free in the tank and silo business can rent the vehicles they require. Demand for such trucks is rising.
Given this, the commercial vehicle lessor, Pema, is to augment its tank and silo trailer range in Europe this year. The company’s acquisitions will include more vehicles for hauling bitumen. Pema already made substantial investments in that sector in earlier years. (ben)
