More trains to serve Stockholm Norvik port
The train service operator TX Logistik is set to introduce a new train service in Sweden in January 2023, with five departures a week between Stockholm Norvik Port and the Eskilstuna Intermodal Terminal. Furthermore, the Nordic railway company Cargonet will add services from the Eskilstuna facility that will enable direct links to Oslo and the entire Nordic market with the start in April.
Stockholm Norvik Port is a new ro-ro and container port with a 4,400 m industrial railway branch line that links Stockholm Norvik to Sweden’s national railway network. The short approach lanes and efficient transport connections make Stockholm Norvik an important logistics hub in the Greater Stockholm area. (ben)
