DP World is augmenting its logistics portfolio for customers in the retail and chemicals sector by adding more capacity for ocean and airfreight, cold chain logistics and warehousing.
The company’s Hong Kong subsidiary and its sister company CN Logistics help it cater to clients of the fashion industry, which includes expertise, technology and order management.
In addition, DP World plans to expand its services for the chemical industry worldwide by leveraging the capabilities of its Singapore-based subsidiary Legend Logistics.
DP World handles more than 10% of global containerised trade and is now looking to strengthen its expertise in specific sectors. (mk)
